PLAXIS 3D is a full three-dimensional PLAXIS program which combines an easy-to-use interface with full 3D modelling facilities. The 3DFoundation program was released in However, in neither 3DTunnel nor 3DFoundation it is possible to define arbitrary 3D geometries, because of their geometrical limitations. It is part of the PLAXIS product range, a suite of finite element programs that is used worldwide for geotechnical engineering and design.
